May Intentions

Five months in already. Can you believe it?

Since moving to Vancouver, spring has quickly become one of my favourite seasons. Albeit I love them all but there’s something about the smell of spring… and the sound of the birds chirping louder than usual. Almost as if they too are delighted at the coming of spring.

Now, for those of you that aren’t familiar with Vancouver, May is pretty much the end of spring and the start of summer which, in my mind makes it extra special.

The weather is heating up and so are our goals.

With that said, I’m excited to be starting another new ritual with you, monthly intention setting. Follow along with me and write your own or you can feel free to follow my lead. Do whatever feels best. I hope you enjoy.

#1 Focus on my Business

At the beginning of the year I set multiple personal goals within my business and I plan to focus on them a little extra this month. 

#2 Focus on my Personal Coaching Containers 

I made the jump and invested in a business course as well as an energetic mastermind a couple of months ago and I will be the first to admit… I fell off the productivity train for a little bit. So this month I’m intentionally setting time aside to focus on these containers and bring my life and business to the next level.

#3 Wake up Early

I know, I know. It’s the most common one out there but I used to be able to jump out of bed at 5am every day without a problem and that just doesn’t seem to happen anymore. The sun rises early now though so I have no excuse. Bedtime at 10:00pm and wake up at 5:00am. I actually just ordered a fancy sunrise alarm clock off of Amazon this morning so hopefully that will help. Stay tuned! 

#4 Daily Movement 

Ya I know… another common one, but what can I say?! The past couple of years and months I’ve been exploring what kind of movement works best for my body and I can confidently say that my body responds best to yoga, pilates and outdoor walks. With that said, my intention this month is do one of these every single day. 

#5  Do more of what I Love

Writing, yoga, outdoor walks, early mornings, reading, calling loved ones. Why would we not focus on doing what makes us happy? We only have one life lovelies, let’s live it right. 

#6 Listen to more Music that makes me want to Dance 

You know those moments when you’re sitting somewhere and all of a sudden a really good and happy song comes on and you automatically start smiling and swaying to the beat of it?
(And yes I am currently sitting in the Holt Renfrew Cafe doing just that!)  More of this please.
